Why We Chose the Canadian Red Cross
After carefully considering our options, we chose the Canadian Red Cross because it is part of the world's largest humanitarian network, working alongside local Red Cross teams already responding in Venezuela.
Donations to the 2026 Venezuela Earthquakes Appeal help provide emergency assistance such as shelter, clean water, food, health services, and other essential support. As needs evolve, funds may also be used to support longer-term recovery and community resilience.
The Government of Canada is also matching eligible public donations made during the designated matching period, helping every contribution have an even greater impact.
Our goal is simple: to bring our community together and support trusted humanitarian efforts for those affected by the earthquakes in Venezuela.
